I have a 1950 88 Club Coupe with no outside and one interior rear view mirror but I have no idea how it attaches. I have a two piece windshield with a post in the center and I see two threaded holes but the mirror I have is not able to just screw into either hole. Am I missing a bracket or need a different mirror? The car is road worthy but not safe to drive without any mirrors.

 

My answer is, I don't know, but if you have a 50 Old's with a split windshield it is a very early 50 and the attachment of the review mirror will probably be the same as a 49 and different than a late 50.. Have you googled 49 and 50 images to see if there is a close up of the difference ?... Tedd
