1974 Hurst/Olds Registry

As some of you know, I am the OCA Model Year Advisor for 73-77 Cutlass, 442, and H/O. I've decided to work on another project and am compiling a registry of 1974 H/Os, similar to what Stew has compiled for 73 H/Os. The registry will just be for historical purposes and not published.

If you own, or have owned a 74 H/O and would be willing to email me the VIN, Fisher Body Number (3AG37LANxxxxxx) (located on the top of the cowl tag), Build Date Code (located on the lower left corner of the cowl tag, an example would be 04C which is April, 3rd week), Exterior and Interior Color, and Main Vinyl Top Color it would be much appreciated. If you wish, you can include the city and state that the car is in.

Even if you have owned one and parted it out, but know the VIN, I am still including it in my registry and noting that it's no longer around.

I understand providing this information can be sensitive for some people, so you don't have to reply with all the info. to this thread. Feel free to send me a PM with the information.

Thank you in advance for your help.

This W30 just sold in August (was on Ebay) and is leaving western PA for Colorado. Was in dry storage from ~1990 until last year. Appx. 70K original miles.

A friend of mine pulled it from its 25 year slumber and I was very interested last summer - I visited it several times. They waited too long to get it sale ready and I bought another '72 Supreme in the meantime. It's on its way to a new owner in Colorado now.

1974 Hurst Olds saved

I just took ownership of a well used 1974 Hurst Olds and I felt it deserves to be added to the registry It is VIN 3G37K4M285781 body tag 3AG37LAN395033 Build date 04B. It is missing its original 350 and TH 350 and past owner(s) have been running a 455. I have a correct year 350 and matching th350 I plan to install in the car. It has most of its original trim and badges and being an AZ car it has little rust (vinyl tops SUCK). It is too nice not to save. Ill post pictures once it is up and alive again.

Thank you for posting the info on your 74 H/O and thank you for saving it! I added the info to the registry. Can you tell me what the exterior, interior, and vinyl top colors are? I'll include that in the registry as well. Looking forward to seeing some pics of the car.

She is a black car with a black interior. The vinyl is all gone but once i locate the build sheet ill know more. The interior is original with the headliner needing help but the seats and carpet are still in good shape!!

There is one in Alberta. He had it at the Olds round up in Olds AB last year. If he shows up this year I will send him your way with info on his car.
