I recently purchased a 69 Hurst. After closer examination I noticed that the medallions on the interior door panels are different. One is an "S" while the other is the Olds Rocket. Previous owner says he did not notice the difference and to his knowledge the door panels are original. Aside from the medallion, the door panels are identical. I assume the Olds Rocket is original medallion.




Any thoughts?

I'm pretty sure that the panel w/ the "S" was intended for a Cutlass S, not an H/O. I can't see that coming on an H/O from the factory.

 

Correct, your H/O should have the rockets.
