What do you think its worth? 69 H/O
Been having a lot of people when i go out and ask if it's for sale and i tell them no.
Lately, I have been thinking about selling it but def not in a rush too. You guys on here probably no the best on what a decent price to ask on one if i do decide to sell it. Can check out the link in my sig under restore thread for pictures and work done.
what i have:
1969 H/O (mileage is at least 109k, not sure how many times it rotated over but i know it did once, since i did it
)
#343/912 on the Demmer list
Have protecto plate so it is documented.(bought in Dec of 69 in El Paso, Tx)
Non numbers matching, no D heads, no Intake manifold
Originally A/C car (3.23 rear end)
has a bone stock bottom end from a 76 Toronado with c heads and an Edelbrock performer intake, Qjet on top. If it fetches more money having a 69 455 block i do know of one that i can probably procure to put in this car.
3 inch X-pipe exhaust with headers.
Car runs and can be used as a daily driver EASILY (I know cause when i sold the caprice and getting the Rallye ready it was).
Body decent, does have its problem areas, main one is the cowl and rear passenger side quarter. Couple bubble spots here and there. Underneath the front floor plans need replaced. Only issue that i notice in the trunk is where the weather stripping is on the bottom right side.
Thanks for looking and the help in advance.

What exactly are you implying? The reason that Jersey is saying he is interested is cause he said he was looking for one on his thread that he made, before it got highjacked with stupid other stuff. So he came over and seems interested in it. The reason for this forum is to get an idea of what to ask for the car if i am to get rid of it. I know alot about Hursts but not compared to alot of people on here. Thinking about it more i think that i am going to be selling it but still not 100% sure.
I was just wondering which way you would go about the sale of your H/O, if or when you decided to sale it. I didn't mean anything negative. Maybe you and Jersey can work up a deal. I'm not an expert at all but I would think it would be worth around $20,000. I've noticed the market goes up and down on these cars. I probably missed out on getting the max for mine if I wanted to sale. I don't think I could ever sale mine. Good luck whichever you decide.
Tom I didn't take Gator's comment as negative...we've been having a grand ole time in the other Hurst thread lmao! And I personally would get the number in your head, and then take bids...if someone hits the number, or better...let 'er rip!
See you tomorrow Tom
Can't wait!

There were four 69 H/O's that passed through Mecum Kissimmee in January. The sales prices ranged from $29k to a couple of "no sales" in the low $70k range. If I was even half seriously thinking about selling I'd do the homework myself.
I have decided to sell it and it is up for 30k negotiable. Not something i have to sell but after thinking about it I feel it should go to someone who will restore her back to original and not resto modded.
