Working with a big block Chevrolet with Oldsmobile on the valve covers.....


Warren is a great driver. I can remember seeing this car at the Car Craft Street Machine Nationals in Illinois.

A picture of WJ,me & Butterbean out behind WJ's shop. Butterbean is the car that he won his first NHRA P/S race with. He bought it back after being raced in other classes for years.

He was little late on the light. But yet for a long while, he had enough power to drive around most.

I can sympathize with deteriorating reaction times as one ages...

I do find myself always rooting for the old guy now. As Smokey said, "old age and treachery will beat youth and enthusiasm any day."
