69HO firefrost

I would like to get my HO painted this year. I know there have been quite a few threads dealing with the problems in creating the Firefrost colour. I was looking at the library of cars on Mecum and theres quite a few stripes that don't seem to come close to the original.

Has anyone recently painted there '69 and been happy with the stripe colour? If so could you send me some info on how the paint was made.

Thank you

Someone here should have some direction/opinion.

They will likely direct you here as well.

Ontario, I'm going to PM you as well.
Jeff advised me he forwarded pics of the can with the formula of the paint used on my '69 in 2019.
I'll provide whatever help I can, including any helpful pictures.

What type of paint material do you want/plan to use? I went searching recently and I was able to purchase the correct mix in a single stage urethane. That was the only option I was able to find, and actually I was pleasantly surprised to find the source.

The firefrost gold applied to my ‘69 H/O is single stage as well. Same for the Cameo white.
