Doing a 69 HO for a customer, and he brought me 3 or 4 different shifter cables to pick from to use. Can someone confirm for me the lengtt of the correct shifter cable from eyelet to eyelet? I have asked other HO gurus, and no one seems willing to give me an answer.
Thank you for your help
tim
The Parts Place lists theirs as 53". I can try to pull mine out of my '68 to measure either Sunday or next week if nobody else has an answer handy, has to come out of there at some point anyways.
Tim, I pulled mine out and measured it today. I measure between 29-1/2" to 30" eye to eye. It's not the easiest measurement because its stiff as a board. not sure how TPP came up with 53", could install shifter in backseat with that...
I attached some pics of it for reference. Hope this helps. I was at the H/O nats this weekend, talked to some of the knowledgable people there and nobody knew of any NOS ones
in existence...
