1972 hurst olds for sale

I am selling my convertible 1972 hurst olds. Mint in every way. It is listed at exotic classics in ny. Comes with many extras. Body on restoration with NOS parts. Pictures etc at exotic classics website.
I have only owned it for a few months as a family situation is having me sell it.
Thanks

Hokie5,

A few questions on the car:

Is the car on consignment with exotic classics or is it owned by the dealer?
Was the car used in the Indy 500 festival?
Did you purchase the car from a person who lived in Houston, it looks similar to a car I was looking at this time last year?
Price, If you are permitted to discuss?

Thanks,

Car is on consignment.
I am selling for personal reasons. I just bought it from a serious collector in Vancouver who owned it since 1997, I believe. It is mint. Please reach out to exotic for pricing but mid/upper 60's is the range.
Thanks for the interest.

Also, the car comes with a box of memorabilia from the festival, extra decals, paint, files of info from GM etc. this is complete in every respect. The prior owner is on this forum as well. I have had it for a too short period of time

Always think of that song when someone uses that HR buzz-phrase
instead of "contact" or "call"

It's a nice, highly optioned car. I don't claim to have enough knowledge to know if the price is right.

The cowl tag shows it's a W45 which is a true HO. I don't think 60's is unreasonable for that car. Not something I have the spare money to buy, but it's a heck of a nice car for whoever does.

I just revisited that ad and feel really embarrassed to ask this, but what's up with the cowl tag? I missed this on the first quick look. Anyone else notice it? HO's were only offered in Cameo white - PNT code 11. This cowl tag is befuddling to say the least. It shows the W45, but not the 11 A that should be there. Near as I can make out the cowl tag shows 63 A which is Saddle bronze with white top.

I realize the OP is not the builder of this car, but was anything said about that discrepancy on the tag?

That is an 11 with lots of spray on it. Car has broadcast sheet with 11A. I owned the car from 1997 to 2014 and amassed the Indy memorabilia collection. Evidence indicated this was not a track car as the POP has a delivery of April 1972 through A Kansas dealer.
Happy to answer any questions on Michaels behalf.
This IS an Awsome car.

Paul, I'm just not seeing the two numbers to the left of the "A" roof color as 11 and I enlarged 400%. On such a beautiful restored car, why would the cowl tag not be cleaned up for easier readability?
