1971 442 A/C mounting brackets

I have a 71 442 with a 77 350 engine in it. The car has factory AC and I am trying to figure out how the compressor mounting brackets go. If any one can help and has some pictures. it would be greatly appreciated. Especially if I need to replace any brackets. Thanks.

Are you using the 1977 compressor or the 1971 compressor? I think they used different compressors so you'll need to use the correct brackets to fit the compressor your plan to use. I'll see if I can come up with some photos.

OK, here's some photos I came up with. The first one is on a 1969 and should be the same brackets used until the mid-1970's. Then one with a smaller compressor used on a 1979. Now that I think about it, I'm not sure the 1977 used the small one. Someone else who knows for sure will need to speak up and clarify. Let me know if you'd like to see any other views/angles. John

Right now I have no compressor. I have the 71 brackets. The problem I am running into is that the bracket that goes over the valve cover doesn't line up. It hits the valve cover and the bolt holes on the bottom are not even close to block for mounting. Not sure if the brackets are right.
