1959 Olds windshield trim

Hi, I'm in the process of replacing the windshield on a 59 2 dr ht, the old windshield was broken out. I'm having trouble getting the top and bottom clips to release and havent had any luck finding out how to do this yet.
Does anyone know the sectet?
Thank you

The top windshield trim is held in place with a couple 5/16 nuts. I think it was 6 total- 3 on the right side and 3 on the left side

If I remember correctly, after you unbolt the top clips and remove a screw from each end of the top, the windshield will push out from the top. Also must remove the cowl screen on the bottom (I think) to reveal the bottom clips which are not actually fastened to the body. This assumes you have both sides already removed. Also easier if you cut the rubber seal all the way around. The manual has a pretty good explanation and illustrations.

On a '57 the headliner must be dropped to expose studs and nuts that hold the upper trim on...'59 might have a stellar improvement??
