wondering if a 98 fender will fit my 88. just cant find a left fender for a resonable price found a 98 for 200 less than a hundred miles away. most places want 3 to 4 hundred plus outragous shipping. im redoing an olds 88 not a bentley to sell at mecum. thanks

 

Yes the fender will fit, I have several 63 98s and they will work, probably the easiest to fit on and has the least amount of script holes to fill.

 

All the front end sheetmetal is common between 1963 88 and Ninety Eight. As Steve has pointed out, the big differences are trim location and mounting holes and those are minor issues.

 

I have a NOS front left fender for 63 and the GM tag says it is for 63 all full size and I paid around 400 for it back in 1990, needed it for my convertible but the body shop decided not to wait for me to pick it up and repaired the fender that was on the car. One day I'll replace it when it's in for paint.

is the 98 and 88 front bumper the same also?

 

front bumpers are the same for 88 98 and starfire. rear not 88 and starfire do but 98 is all on its own. are u looking for a 63 fullsize front bumper?
