Fuse Panel Bolt

Lost the bolt that holds the fuse block together. Does anybody know the specs off the top of their head, so I can replace it?

how about another OEM bolt?
I must have dozens on hand, if I can find one...
year and model would be nice to know.
I am guessing '69 Cutlass, but need to be sure.

An OEM bolt would be great, Chris! Yes, 1969 Cutlass.

Nick, pretty sure I have an OEM one too, if Chris (octania) can't help you out.

Should be an easy replacement - just head out to the boneyard and pick on a wreck

Unfortunately, the boneyards near me are now landscaping and concrete companies.

Here's a photo of the original bolt with the specs. There is a 1/8" space between the (2) 5/8" sections I show and that 1/8" space has a groove on the bolt to accept an "E" clip which retains the bolt to the connector. I'm sure if you go to your local hardware store and get a 1/4-20 bolt like this one and even 1-1/2" length would work fine. Or to duplicate the original length, get a 1-1/2" length bolt and cut it down by 1/8".

I'll offer the one I have but I'm sure it will be much cheaper for you to get a bolt locally at a store.

Brian
