front inner wheel well help

front inner wheel well help
I have a 1987 olds cutlass. I have been trying to fix up/paint the front inner plastic wheel wells on it. What is the best way to get and KEEP them looking good. Looking to do the inside engine bay portion of them in flat or satin black.

wanted to add that these seem to have a number of different layers and colors of paint sprayed on them.
