Exclamation Ignition coil external condensor.

I am installing a ne ignition coil after me old one started to leak and bulge. Regarding the external condenser that bolts to the what terminal is it supposed to be connected to? I was looking at YouTube videos and there was conflicting opinions as to which terminal + vs -. Ford says positive. But a general video said terminal the distributor is wired to thus being neg terminal. I'd love to get this car issue figured out so my wife will stop complaining about it being in the driveway. Included is wiring to coil photos. There is a black and red wire coming from below the Petronics distributor. and a red wire coming from the firewall upper exterior of the fuse block just under the brake booster. The first picture is wiring from the distributor. second is from the firewall block.

It connects to the pos. terminal on the coil, it's purpose is a noise filter for the radio.
