Hello. I have a 1963 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 Holiday Coupe. I ordered a front-end suspension kit from Kanter auto parts. Kanter said there are 2 types of suspension kits. One is Saginaw and the other is TRW. They said to look under the car at the center link. If it's flat on the center link where the castle nut goes, it's Saginaw. Now the parts arrived. I looked at the new upper control arm bushing verse the old one on the car and they look different. I called Kanter and a different rep. answered the phone. He said to look at the top of the center link where it attaches to the pitman arm, if it plastic it's Saginaw. If it's metal, it's TRW. (Mine is metal. It looks like an upside-down bowl). After telling the Rep that, he wasn't sure and said he has to do some research and he'd get back to me.
The other problem I am having is getting the 2 sway bar bushings that mounts the sway bar to the frame for this car. I called a few suppliers and they're saying that my car has a 3/4" diameter sway bar. I measured mine with a non-digital micrometer and it has a diameter of approximately 1 3/32".
Can someone please help me with these 2 problems. I have photos attached of upper control arm bushings and my center link.
