Put the Fisher Body Manual away. The section you're fixated on is for unit-body cars with front and rear subframes and has nothing to do with your Salon, which is separate body-on-frame construction.
Look in the Chassis Service Manual Section 2A for diagrams and dimensions for your Salon.
Here's the series designation from the CSM. Notice Oldsmobile didn't produce F or K platform cars and Salon is considered a body-on-frame A platform car.
Thanks!
i found the dimensions in the 1979 oldsmobile services manual. but still there is missing vertical dimensions
It was said that the frame of "Cutlass, 88, 98 and Tornado are basically the same", so could it be the horizontal dimensions are the same?
or i missing something?
No, no, and no. The Cutlass is an A-body. It has a 108" wheelbase on a full frame. The other Olds full frame cars have different wheelbase, width, and length. The frames do not interchange and the dimensions are completely different. The Chassis Service Manual diagram is only intended to provide the info for checking wracking, which is the most common distortion in a collision. It is not intended to provide full frame dimensions. You would need a frame chart book for that.
