1971 442 w30
There are 3 AirCleaner Decals listed for the above Olds. that are noted NF NG PP Which is correct ?

 

The 1971 Assembly Manual shows NF for 2bbls and NG for 4bbls except 442 or W25/W30. NH is for 442's without W25/W30. NJ is the base for W25/W30 adapter.

 

NJ available ???????

 

I've tried several ways to attach a photo, but none worked for me.
They are $9.95 on Mark Cornea's site (Dr. Decal).

So whats the rectangular one of the Radiator cover ? Assume EMISSIONS. OE code correct?

 

PP is a Pontiac decal.

 

Emission label OE is correct for engine codes TT, TS and TB. (Assembly Manual 0; 110.)
TT is 455 automatic with W30, without A/C.
TS is 455 manual with W30, without A/C.
TB is 455 manual with W30 and W37, without A/C. (All three Assembly Manual 6-1; 80.)

 

Again THANKS GUYS. Ordered and rec yesterday the AC and Em. decals. Im working with a pretty good older restoration and assume these decal were not available at the time.
