What was the color for the original spiral shocks that were installed on the cars in the sixties?

 

It's a grey color. I got some from Year One...comes in a spray can...I believe the part number is IDSP1. I bought Delco shocks...the new ones come in black as I recall...and painted them grey before installing them just to get the look.
