Fuel tank venting
1972 Cutlass S. Replaced original carburetor with Holley. Originally used evap canister at fuel vent line. Is this charcoal canister still required?

Vent line
Thought it was just for emissions anyway. Just did not want to create a vacuum issue in tank that may impede electric fuel pump draw or return.
