does the roller cam gear retrofit back into a 350?

will the 307 lifters etc work on early motors? cam? just curious

 

Cam will fit, lifters are .921" on the roller 307, the rest .842" except the early 400 and some 425 blocks which also have .921" lifters but the oil bands in those blocks are too low for factory roller lifters and cams.

 

The bigger problem is that the 307 roller lifters are heavy and not what you'd want for a performance motor anyway.
