Wich Transmission under a 62 Starfire?
A friend of mine has a 62 Oldsmobile Starfire.
The tranny is leaking beause the pan and fillertube is damaged so we have to change them.
Wich tranny is on the car?

That Starfire has what is called a Roto Hydra-Matic. Some people refer to it as a Slim-Jim. Olds used that trans from '61 to '64. Pontiac used it during the same time period, but only in the lower-line cars. The fancy Pontiacs from that period used the older Dual-Range Hydra-Matic.
