Wheel well trim

On a 68-69 Cutlass which wheel well trim goes in the front ? The wider ones or the skinny ones. Thanks for you input.

AFAIK, the wheel well trim on the front and rear are the same width. There IS a difference between the trim width on Cutlass S (same as 442) and Cutlass Supreme. But the trim is the same width all around.

I was referring to the part that goes toward the center of car not the part that is exposed. This may have been off a 442.

Until I just now went to look at mine, I never noticed the difference in widths of the inner lips between the front and rear trim. I would've thought that the differences in the fender / quarter panel contours would've made then non-interchangeable. In any case, the wider lips go on the rear.

Skinnies on front, wider ones on rear.
