I'm looking for an Olds water pump that is 5.25 inches from fan mounting flange to timing cover. I've been told this is the 'short version'. I can't find this dimension pump anywhere, all are longer. Is my info wrong or what am I missing?

 

there is 3 versions. 5.1, 5.6, and 6" pumps. I have 2 5.1s but i dont know if they work. (originals off of 425s) I can tell you that both where off 1965 425s 1 88 and 1 98. ill look it up on autozone. BRB

The other motor i have was out of a 1965 98 425 4bl with A/C this is 5.1


I forgot i had to swap mine out of my 64 once. I used a 65 cutlass 330 with A/C. That one is 5.1 too. so try any one of those and you should be good

Carquest rebuilt 5.125" height water pump (for 66-7 all non AC) is 10.1002. The AC pump is same height, different number.
