will a convertable top and frame from a 71 cutlass fit onto a 69 cutlass?

 

'68 to '72 should all be the same.

There are differences in the rear tack strips. I don't know the years but I know my 68 had a 3 piece originally & when I got the car someone had put a top assembly that had a one piece in. It's a minor difference but when you're trying to line up an existing top fabric to a different tack strip it takes a little work to get it tight.
