vented/not vented gas caps

What do they do and what do I get? I have a '65 and '67 cutlass' with 330s. Neither had gas tanks when I got them. Both have new tanks but no caps. Both tanks have extra tubes that I believe are used for venting.

What caps do I buy?

Unvented.
If they were vented, they would leak gas due to the cap location relative to the tank. Thus the vent tube are used for venting. Understandably, the venting has to be higher than the tank.
