Upper and lower radiator hose springs

Anybody know where I can find the springs for the upper and lower radiator hoses or where I can find the hoses with them already installed? This is for a 68' Rocket 350 cutlass. Thanks.

The upper hose doesn't have a spring - only the lower one.

I've never tried to buy one.

I'm told by friends in the parts business, the springs are no longer used. The new hoses are made heavy so they do not collapse so no springs necessary.

@ Eric, my upper radiator hose did have a spring in it (maybe wasn't supposed to). Anyway the springs in both the upper and lower radiator hoses were all rusty and in numerous pieces. I'm not sure how old the parts on the engine are in relation to the actual year of the car (68') as it's not the original motor, but it is an Olds Rocket 350, which is what was factory. I appreciate the quick replies guys. I'll just install my new Goodyear radiator hoses and clamps without any springs. Thanks again!

Well, for whatever it's worth, the water pump pulls the water from the radiator into the pump, which can collapse the lower hose, bit the upper hose, which carries hot water from the engine to the radiator, is generally under pressure and will not collapse.

Most NAPA hoses don't have springs either, for the reason stated earlier. They are made so they won't collapse. I haven't had any issues when using a NAPA hose.
