Im getting ready to join fresh 455 with a TH400. Wanted to know if you guys could direct me on some torque specs. Either where to find them, or..
1. water pump bolts torque lbs
2. Bellhousing to engine block torque lbs
3. Torque coverter to flywheel bolts torque lbs

 

That would be your 1969 Chassis Service Manual, at the end of Section 6.

 

... But none of those has a "critical" torque, like head bolts do - Just "good and tight" using your built-in right-arm-torqueometer is fine (or at least it's never failed me).

Of course, as Joe says, the torque specs are listed in ascending order of displacement, for each engine, at the end of the Engine section.
