Toronado Manifolds on a Delta?

I have a 65 Delta 88 2-door with a 425. I'm planning to go with dual exhausts. I have a chance to get a set of dual exhaust manifolds from a 66 Toronado with a 425. Will they fit on my Delta?

No, I believe the toro manifold outlets will be too close to the firewall to work. I've heard of people using a pair of A manifolds, the one that was factory on the drivers side on both sides. You can also block off the crossover on your pass manifold, then run a pipe back from the drivers side. That's how all the small block dual exhaust cars from the late 1960's into 1970's were setup.

Not even close. On the 1965-1970 full size cars, you MUST use the correct dual exhaust manifold for the driver's side. That's the only thing that will clear the steering box and shift linkage. Repros are available.

I was afraid there would be a clearance issue. Thanks for the info and the suggestions!

How is there a clearance issue when you use the correct factory dual exhaust manifold for this car?

I was replying to the previous post when you posted yours. I was referring to a clearance issue with the Toro manifolds.
