Roller rocker advice

Looking for some advice from the C.O. experts. I am considering running Harland Sharps roller rockers on my 455 build and was wondering if I needed to upgrade anything else like pushrods, valve covers, etc. Any other considerations?

I run the Harlan pedestal style rockers which are good to 350# on the seat, I did strip my valve covers of the oil control fences.

The Harlan pedestal style rockers are bolt on, please be sure to check push rod length, I’m running Smith Bros push rods..

The HS is a great value rocker and fits under a stock cover with baffles but you'll need to double gasket. T&D machine IMO makes the best out there. They fit beneath my A/C baffled covers with ½" spacers. Personally I run oil restricted pushrods on all my RR engines...

Do you HS guys have any part numbers? Im looking for a bolt on roller rocker for my C heads. I think I need a 5/16" stud.

HS shows the pedestal style rockers on their show, call them for fitment on the cast iron heads. If you’re planning on stock a/c you’ll want to remove the VC baffles, they won’t fit under the compressor bracket with double VC gaskets.

HR will also make the pedestal style in 3/8" bolts for those who want to run higher spring pressures.
