Rochester 7041251 vrs 7041257
So from what im picking up the only diff between the Rochester 7041251 vrs 7041257 is the jetting RIGHT ? Linkages r the same?
Looking for a 7041257. Found a 51 for a fair $$$$$ so thinking maybe it.

The only differences between the '1251 and '1257 carbs are the primary jets (0.070" in the '1251, smaller 0.069" in the '1257, primary metering rods are the same in both) and the secondary metering rods (AK rods in the '1251, AT rods in the '1257).

Beware of anything that has signs of remanufacture. Tags, sand blasted castings ect. Also the fuel inlet threads need to be checked before buying, If they're stripped or damaged it could be an expensive fix. Also inspect the front top casting along the forward gasket area, some people really crank down on the mount bolts and warp the casting
