Does anyone know if ribbon wire was used for 1964 olds cutlass convert to connect rear lights to dash harness? Difficult to tell from service manual. Don't recall seeing one from when I changed carpet in 64 hardtop 2-door 20 years ago. Thanks!

 

I have a 64 convertible. There is a harness that powers the convertible top, and all the rear lights which is flat and runs along the floor on the drivers side. I guess I would call it a ribbon wire too, but there are several circuits in it.

 

X2, the convertible I dismantled had a ribbon wire with several circuits in it.

Thanks for your help. Wire was listed for 65 Cutlass, but none of the manufacturers new if GM used it in 64. I didn't recall seeing it when a replaced the carpet in my previous 64 hardtop. Thanks again!
