Question about valve covers

Hi guys got another question, where can I find adorable tall aluminum valve covers for my 455??

i found a set on eBay but there’s no holes, I’m pretty sure I need them with holes, here’s a pic of the ones on eBay

You have to machine breather holes in those.

Adorable??😅. Be mindful of your clearances. (A/C, brake booster, accessory brackets). Those are also available in script.

For the OP, I've seen a few different ways of tackling your question, including pulling from the intake manifold and oil fill tube instead of boring into the covers. I will likely have the machine shop open up holes like 66sportcoupe is showing.

From what I've read this version of tall cover won't clear the 11" brake booster, and even a 9" (maybe 8") required some clearancing of the valve cover...which I'm not willing to do. I'm going with a hydraboost system so it won't be an issue for me.

I opened mine up on a manual Bridgeport mill. No baffles installed. No issues. Any brake booster you buy won't work. Manual brakes only.

THANKS GUYS!!!! That’s the information I needed!!! I have a 8 inch booster but if those valve covers won’t work with a 8 inch looks like I’m going to use original with spacers!!

as always thanks for all the help!!!!
