general inquiry on a starter part number. just need a part number for reference to be able to order a re-man delco/remy starter for a 1970 442 4sp. i have not pulled the one on the car yet it still is working---but occasionally makes a god awful noise. so i'm just looking to have a part number for reference thinking of the day i will have to crawl under the car. i would guess the one i have is not date coded correct, and frankly, not concerned with correct number matching
