will a 1965 330 cu. in. oil pan work on a 1965 425 cu. in. engine

My initial thought is yes, but it couldn't hurt to check clearances before you bolt it on for good.
I used a 350 pan on a 455 with no issues, soo.....

Yes, but...

The BBO pans have two bulges just in front of the sump. The SBO pans do not. The bulges are there to accommodate an internal baffle that is not used on the SBO pans. Top photo is an SBO, bottom is a BBO.

thanks for your advice will have to dig my 330 out storage and use pan
