From non air to Air 70 Cutlass Rallye 350

Bought a complete AC setup for the Rallye 350 and i was wondering what parts need to be swapped out.

I know of the following:
Pulleys (from 2 to 3)
Water pump (?)
Dash Pad
controls
kick panels (from fresh air vents to flat ones)
Fan (from the 4 blade to the 7 blade)
add a fan shroud

What else would i be missing

You will need to graft in a firewall from an A/C car.

Look at the factory assembly manual to see how different the firewalls are.

You have to change the hole in your firewall from horizontal to vertical.

There are a variety of ways of doing this, anywhere from using aluminum siding scraps and roofing caulk to stitching in a piece of an A/C car's firewall, and everything in between.

I believe you will have to create the hole for the A/C wiring to pass through the firewall as well - if I recall there's a dimple there already.

Because the A/C air pass-through is different, I believe you also want the firewall insulation mat from an A/C car.

You'll also need the A/C heat valve that screws into the intake manifold.

This job is about a hundred times easier if you have the donor car next to your car in the driveway, or have at least pulled al the parts out of the donor car yourself.

Good luck!

Tom, if you are going with factory a/c stuff,
I can just about get you there with all the parts
I have, short of the graft for the firewall.
Let me know after you take stock of what you
need, and I will see what I can do. Did you get
a chance to check out the pics of the a/c dash
that I have for the 69? I have the controls as well.

You also need the drivers side alternator bracket in addition to the 3 belt pulley.

Ok lets see if i can answer all of these questions here:
Eric: I do KINDA have a donor car for the job on this and thanks for all of the information

Shane: I bought an all GM setup from another member on here for the price of shipping. He swapped to Vintage Air and with my car being a numbers matching engine i am trying to keep it all stock.

Adam: I might be actually talking to you about this as I will be putting the AC back in the H/O when i get to that one. And no i have not seen the dash do you have a link or can you email it to me please

Dane: I did know that you need a driver side bracket and I think i can get the part i need from another motor that has AC out here.

Thanks again everyone for the help and do you think it is worth swapping it over to AC or should i just leave it non Air and use the fresh air vents?

Fresh Air Vents = Convection Oven.

I would definitely say A/C is worth it, but there are guys on here who rip out their A/C and throw it away, so I would imagine they would disagree.

Tom, it's 95* in Marble today.
You live in San Antonio! Is is 97 or 8 today?
Not to mention the freaking humidity.
A 69 H/O with air? Ooh Hell yes, that's a
Central Texas keeper bud.
I might even have the cast iron #'s match
a/c brackets for the 69 455 too!

That would be awesome, but honestly not terribly worried about keeping everything numbers matching in that car, But i do have a complete AC setup that i will be taking from another car. My question now is this, is there a different bracket from the 350 and the 455 ones?
