New to site and need help with 55' parts locate

I just joined the site. Not sure where to ask about this:
I have a 55" 98. I am looking for a water pump (with a/c) and a vacuum advance for the same 324 motor.
I have a "parts interchange' CD that I can not figure out at all.
I would like to know if there is any year interchange for the parts? and where the most reliable source of Olds parts is.( I don't really want NOS parts for these two items) I have found a couple online. Not sure who's who.
I figured you folks would know. Thank you. Hugh

I've got a 1954 324 parts engine, the vacuum advance might be OK used. But I'd go with a new or rebuilt water pump if you can find one.

It would be Friday or Saturday before I can look. If you haven't found one by then please send me a PM as a reminder on Friday.

If John (2blu442) has a vacuum advance, there is not a better person to buy it from. Otherwise, you can get a rebuilt one from Fusick for $49.50. If you have not been to Fusick, you need to take a look. They are good folks and don't do anything but Oldsmobiles. I am in Rowlett. I have been very busy the last couple years and have not been very active. Hope to see your car next year.

I'll look at the water pump with Summit tomorrow. Just want to make sure it ok to run with a/c. I see the non-a/c pumps are easy to come by.
I'm not sure how much extra water the a/c one is supposed to move, and maybe the new rebuilts might be good enough to compensate?

I agree Fusick Automotive here in Ct is your best bet for Olds parts. Even if Dave or Mike Fusick can't help you they can lead you in the right direction.

That really is a good deal on the Summit waterpumps. I think Fusick is about $120.
