Name that Part!

Can anyone tell me the name of the part that is missing in the photo? Looks like it should be some sort of seal or guide for the rear window.

I want to order it but not sure what it is called.

Its called a U shaped door jamb seal available through the weather strip or resto suppliers.
These are at Supercars Unlimited:

Looks like your door jamb striker plate is missing too. It fits in the two holes near the interior panel and there should be a corresponding piece on the door. They help the door fit tight and keep the it from rattling around on convertibles.

I know Fusick carries it and I have had good experiences with SuperCars Unlimited too.

Do you have a photo of them mounted?

Thanks,

Nope my convertible is a 67. The parts are different on a 68. I'm sure somebody with a 68 can help you.

Hi Rage - here's a couple photos showing the striker plates on my 68 442 convertible. The parts are specific to their mounting location, so the door requires one part and the body-mounted one takes another, which is different. Both doors have these.
