MSD Ready To Run Timing curve?

I got an MSD Ready to Run distributor in a mild 455. Anyone have any experience with these? Using it right out of the box, not sure if I should try changing springs or not.
thanks,
Guy

I say check it at idle and 3000 RPM to see what it looks like.

How was your car running with your stock setup?

It comes with a preset curve in it. Off the top of my head I can't remember what that is but it's listed on the MSD website. It is easily changed to suit your needs.

It comes with a long slow curve and uses the heavy silver springs and blue 21* stop bushing. Curve ends @ around 4k rpm.
