So, going back to the '55 wipers set up (cable driven vacuum operated), how do you remove that wiper 'motor'?....or more specifically, how do you remove the cables off of the drum? Do you have to remove the left and right arms where they penetrate the cowl or is there a way to remove the motor without doing this...because from my view, it appears they put the wiper drives on the assembly line at the beginning and built the car around it...ugh!
