More Garbage Aftermarket Shxx

I have a leak in my 1 year old Four Seasons evaporator in the 89 Custom Cruiser. I can't go back in time for an OEM GM part. Has anyone had luck with UAC or Omega parts ? They all probably come from the same place we know and love.

There's a very small set of actual manufacturers for A/C parts. Maybe 2?
My vague guess is four seasons takes the cheapest thing on the market and throws a sticker on it. I'm pretty certain UAC is an actual manufacturer and had generally OK experiences with their parts. A couple of brain cells are trying to say I've had a problem or two with Omega.

But, these are low-sales commodity parts. So we kind of just have to take whatever we can get.

When I had to do the heater core in my Wife's Riviera the second time I went on e-bay and actually found an NOS GM part.

Here you go. Pretty sure this is the right part number :

Thank You Bill K. I tried searching a different GM number (which is actually on the listing) on Ebay and came up dry. Order is in. I just wish I could test it before installation.

If you know anybody that does HVAC work they should be able to do a Nitrogen pressure test on it.
