installation help needed 70 Cutlass sport mirrors

The body shop/restoration center that is restoring and painting my 64 post pro-touring project needs some help with a 70 Cutlass. The car only had the std. drivers side mirror. The holes were filling in and sport mirrors are in order. He need some specs, a diagram on where to correctly mount these factory reproduction mirrors. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure the sport mirror on the driver side uses the same mount as the chrome deluxe mirror - you can use those holes as a template for the other side. The sport mirrors do use a different bracket which is sold by the repo stores

Gotta agree on that.

That's what I did. I just copied the hole outlines from the drivers door onto the sheet metal of the passenger door and actually had the body shop cut it out.

Yeah - if they already filled the holes, they've kind of made extra work for themselves now.
