Still just as valid
nice explanation of the synchromesh concept
In this era, no one uses a cork stopper, we might never get that idea.

Of course we drive the FRONT wheels now, generally, but the concept is the same.

I like how they show a girl shifting and driving. "So easy a girl can do it" would be the implication.

Thanks, I just shared that video with my 10 y.o. son. He was recently asking why an automatic needed the 1 2 and D ? Great stuff.
