Dumb question...

I just got in a hood tongue for my 1970 cutlass supreme. It was missing it so i dont have any idea which side is up and which side is down.

I also dont know how i would attach it, since the previous parts were missing.

Any light in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

 

the top of the tongue has three bolt holes.
it bolts to the underside of the hood using three bolts like these.

 

Thank you very much, i was able to order them from Inline tube thru ebay!
My plastic tongue lacks the third hole , so i guess i'll have to drill it myself.

I've never heard of someone having a prosthetic (plastic) tongue!!

 

but I've heard of silver tongued Devils....
