Air Breather Tube?

72 Cutlass with 455.

My pass side valve cover has PCV hooked up. My driver side valve cover had what I would call a breather tube hooked to it. The metal thing I had that fit into the rubber grommet fell off while driving. I’m not sure if what I had on there was right. Anyone have knowledge if my set up was right? Or what I need to get to get car back on road?

Did you lose the valve cover breather (first image below) or the pipe between that breather and the air cleaner? The valve cover breather can be purchased at your local auto parts store.

If you need the metal pipes and rubber sleeves, you could get used ones from a forum member or new ones from a restoration company such as Inline Tube.

I lost that air breather that is in picture one. I need to get one but was not sure what it was called or where to exactly get one.
