Heater core

Is there any heater core manufacturers that are better quality than others? I put in a new core in my 68 Cutlass when I reassembled the car about 5 years and now it appears to be leaking.

You can send your OEM unit out to be re-cored.

The core for a heater core is usually really expensive, many times more than a radiator core but having a professional radiator shop recore an original is the most trusted method.
