Harmonic balancer

1970 442 w-30. When looking at my harmonic balancer I see there is an outer and inner part separated by a rubber seal? This one seems to have let go and needs a rebuild or replacement. Are harmonic balancers matched or balanced to that particular crank or rotating assembly when built or are all 455 harmonic balancers the same? I have a 455 core motor with good balancer I could just switch or would the proper way to fix be rebuilding this one? I would still think it would need to be balanced ?

I sent the one on my 54 to Damper Dudes and was very satisfied. Here is the link.

I know there are some other companies that folks on here have used and been very satisfied.

The stock balancers are balanced to the same requirement. You can swap them.
