Gas tank question

Hello everyone and Happy Fathers Day ! Have a question about a 1970 442 gas tank. Will the 1970 442 gas tank fit the 1969 442 ? Anyone know for sure ?

I don't know if they will "fit" or not. Hollander says that they are different part numbers.
1969: 404078 (same as Buick Special)
1970 w/EEC: 405010 (Olds only)
1970 w/o EEC: 405109 (Olds only)

They Will fit. The differences that come into play are the Vent fittings on tanks for different applications. Hence the different part numbers. Physical dimensions are the same 68-72 and the neck is the same also.
