Fuel quantity switch

Hello,
I've got a 1959 Olds Dynamic 88.
I've a problem with the fuel indicator. I think it's the flotter in my fueltank.
Where is it located ?
I thought to get acces via my trunk, but there's no trace of an accespoint.
Thanks

It's inserted through the top of the tank and held in place by a lock ring. The tank has to be lowered for access. Where the floats of the later model cars are all 0-90 ohms, yours is 0-30.
