Can anyone recommend Engine Shop in the Augusta GA area? The 455 is making some not so happy noises and Nichols auto repair doesn't pull engines or do internal engine work.

 

Its gong to be very hard to find a shop that will do that. You will probably have to find a shop to pull the engine and then get it to a machine shop/engine builder to repair it.

 

Hey Bill. Agree. I lived in Bel Air MD for 13 years and that's where I had a lot of the work done because there was multiple places. There's nothing down here unless I go to Atlanta which I'm not going to do. I would love for someone just to diagnose the thing. I know a lot of people can probably pull the engine around here and machine shops that can do the work but nobody knows how to tell me what's wrong with the motor which is the biggest problem I think at this point. Just put an offer on a house up in Fredericksburg VA. If I move back up this summer, I'll be in good shape with plenty of shops and within striking distance of all the guys in Maryland again.
