dual gate

I found a 68 GTO today that had a console and dual gate [ I think it is a his and hers in the injun world]. would this be the same shifter for a 1970 442.

Pretty sure it will not fit but maybe someone else can verify?

I think Pontiac used a straight stick and Olds had a curved one. Not sure if it will fit or not but I don’t think they are the same.

an aftermarket dual gate/dual gate II looks like this - the shifter is the same or similar to the '70-'72 Olds unit

The top plate on the Poncho shifter is much wider. Back in the 1980's I picked up a 1969 GTO dual gate. When I got done hacking my console trying to make it fit I wasn't proud of the end product!
